Since 1976, The Cambridge Performing Arts Centre has featured regional talent of all ages in live stage productions. This historic theater, originally known as The Strand Theater; complete with original seats and box office window, continues to provide wholesome family stage entertainment, including musical and straight shows.
Cambridge Concert Association The Cambridge Concert Association is in its 62nd Season of presenting their annual series of 4 professional music and dance performances to the area. Also, each year they sponsor an educational concert for the Cambridge and St Benedict elementary schools. This performance gives the students a chance to see and hear professional-caliber performances in a more relaxed setting. Concerts are sponsored in part by the Ohio Arts Council and Pennsylvania Arts on Tour. The CCA’s pledge is to present outstanding offerings with varied programs, guaranteed to have something for everyone!
In keeping with the Main Street initiative, the 3pm Sunday concerts are usually held at the Scottish Rite Auditorium on Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge. Reciprocity agreements with the Alliance, Lancaster and Zanesville concert series draws visitors to downtown Cambridge. Also, all Cambridge Concert Association members may enjoy concerts in these cities (usually at no cost) as a result of their membership in the CCA.
The next CCA offering is on Sunday Dec. 6, with Swing’s the Thing, a16-piece Big Band, followed on Feb 28, 2010, with organist the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Szeremany (held at the First United Methodist Church, corner of North Seventh Street and Steubenville Avenue, Cambridge) and the season closes with a return performance of vocalist Dwight Lenox & Trio on April 18, 2010.

Cambridge Singers Cambridge Singers present "Broadway: Updated," a musical review of newer Broadway Smash hits. 2009 Show dates are May 15 & 16 at 8pm and May 17 at 3pm. The annual holiday presentation of "Christmas with the Cambridge Singers" will be December 12 at 7pm and December 13 @ 3pm.All shows held at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in downtown Cambridge. Each summer the oldest community band in the state of Ohio (originating in 1841) thrills its audience with a free evening of music in Cambridge City Park. Consisting of musicians of all ages, the Cambridge City Band also offers special holiday programs and marches in several patriotic parades throughout the year.

With nearly 150 member artists and art enthuists the Eastern Ohio Art Guild represents the diverse art forms found in this Ohio region. Our artisit member works include mediums in metal, fiber, and stone sculpture, watercolor, pastels, oils and acrylic, beading, anddecorative and functional pottery. The EOAG host several juried and private shows throughout the year, art classes and workshops and a youth summer camp.
